What You Can Carry
Candidates are allowed to carry transparent water bottles inside the examination hall. This is aimed at ensuring comfort without compromising security protocols. Furthermore, students should avoid bringing any unnecessary items to prevent delays during entry.
Dress Code Guidelines
NTA has clarified that light clothing is preferred on exam day. However, students are allowed to wear full sleeves or woollen clothes if required. In such cases, they must report to the exam centre well in advance. This allows sufficient time for proper frisking without causing last-minute stress.
Footwear guidelines are also simple. Candidates are encouraged to wear slippers or low-heeled sandals. This helps speed up the security check process and reduces inconvenience at entry points.
Religious and Cultural Considerations
Furthermore, the advisory respects personal beliefs. Candidates who wish to wear articles or objects of faith are permitted to do so. However, they must report early at the centre to allow additional frisking procedures. This ensures that both security and personal sentiments are balanced carefully.
Follow Instructions for a Smooth Exam
NTA has urged all candidates to strictly follow these guidelines and cooperate with examination staff. Reaching the centre early can help avoid unnecessary stress and ensure a hassle-free entry.
With the exam just around the corner, staying informed and prepared is key. Follow official instructions and focus on giving your best performance.
Final Word
As NEET UG 2026 approaches, it is normal to feel a mix of nerves and excitement. Focus on the basics. Dress comfortably, carry only what is allowed, and arrive early. These small steps can ease your stress. Stay calm and walk in with confidence on exam day.
