The National Medical Commission (NMC) gladly shared the significant milestone on 20th September 2023 of receiving recognition status from the esteemed World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) for a period of 10 years.
Dedicated to elevating medical education quality globally, the World Federation for Medical Education operates an accreditation program that is vital in making sure medical schools achieve and maintain the highest international benchmarks in teaching and training.
It is a moment of great pride for the National Medical Commission (NMC) upon being granted the esteemed World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) recognition status for an impressive duration of 10 years, reflecting the NMC dedication to top-tier standards in medical training and accreditation.
WFME recognition demonstrates that Indian medical education aligns with international benchmarks, stated Dr. Yogendra Malik, a member of the Ethics and Medical Registration Board and head of the media division at NMC.
