A public notice was released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 29th, 2024, allowing applicants who took the NEET (UG) 2024 exam to contest the Answer Key and OMR Sheet Grading. This window is available from May 29th through May 31st, 2024.

The NEET (UG) 2024 examination took place on 05 May 2024 (Sunday) between 02:00 P.M. and 05:20 P.M. (IST) across various centers situated in 571 cities nationwide, which included 14 cities situated internationally.

To assist test-takers, the NTA has published the Scanned Provisional Answer Keys, Scanned Images of the OMR Answer Sheet, and Recorded Responses for NEET (UG) – 2024 on the portal https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. Applicants wanting to contest their Answer Key are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹ 200/- for each answer disputed. Furthermore, candidates have the option to challenge the OMR grading by submitting a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per question.

Kindly be aware that all transaction fees for contested questions must be completed via Debit card, Credit Card, or Net Banking no later than 31 May 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.). Objections will only be evaluated if the applicant supplies the valid receipt for the processing charge.

Moreover, the disputes raised by candidates will be evaluated by subject specialists. Should a challenge prove to be accurate, the Answer Key will be modified in response. The final NEET (UG) 2024 outcomes will be formulated and announced relying on this updated Answer Key.
