Following the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) 2020 conducted last week on September 13, 2020, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to publish the official NEET 2020 answer key very soon. The NTA will make the answer key available alongside the question paper and the applicants response sheets or OMR sheets on the official NTA website at www.ntaneet.nic.in
The NTA is an organization set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to administer entrance tests for higher education, and it is also tasked with holding the NEET 2020 examination. This year, roughly 80-90% of the 15 lakh registered aspirants took part in NEET 2020. As has been the practice in prior years, the answer key for the NEET test will be published prior to the official announcement of the results.
In previous years, the NEET answer key and final scores were typically published a month after the test took place. Nevertheless, this year, the examination schedule was postponed owing to the coronavirus pandemic. Taking this circumstance into account, the NTA may also expedite the release of the results for the students.
Test-takers are able to obtain the answer key, question paper, and response sheet directly from the NTA portal. By utilizing these documents, applicants can review their accurate and inaccurate answers from the test and also calculate their anticipated scores for the NEET 2020 examination.
As stated by the NTA, the NEET 2020 answer key and the applicants OMR sheets are available for objections. Should students identify any flawed answers within the answer key or OMR sheet, they are permitted to file an objection against them. The NTA will re-evaluate the specific answers, and if an error is confirmed, revisions will be applied to the answer key. The final scores of the candidates will then be formulated based on this revised answer key.
The procedures to view the answer key are outlined below:
- Go to: www.ntaneet.nic.in
- Once on the NTA portal, applicants need to select the link designated for the answer key.
- Upon clicking that option, a new window will appear
- Input your application number and password
- Following a successful sign-in, students will be presented with the direct links to access the answer key, question paper, and OMR sheets.
NEET serves as a unified entrance test for entry into MBBS, BDS, and alternative undergraduate medical programs sanctioned and accredited by the Medical Council of India.
