Inter-University Cricket Championship Conducted in Russia
Medical institutions in Russia have consistently provided learners with avenues to cultivate their passions and talents across both academic and extracurricular domains. Recently, multiple premier Russian universities took part in the Inter-University Cricket Championship hosted by Bashkir State Medical University.
The tournament took place on 12th May 2022 and 13th May 2022, spanning Thursday and Friday. It featured impressive participation from leading higher education institutions, including Perm State Medical University, Orenburg State Medical University, Bashkir State Medical University I and II, Ryazan State Medical University, Saratov State Medical University, Cheboksary State Medical University, Kazan State Medical University, among others.
All participating universities were organized into 6 distinct squads: Ufa, Perm, Kazan, Orenburg, Ryazan, and Chuvashskiy.
The renowned Perm State Medical University advanced to the semi-finals after securing 3 consecutive victories, though they fell short of reaching the finals. Meanwhile, Orenburg State Medical University triumphed in 2 out of 3 qualifying matches, followed by a win in the semi-finals, ultimately claiming the championship title by defeating Cheboksary State Medical University by 6 runs.
We feel immense pride in watching numerous Indian scholars enrolled in top Russian medical schools excel in their personal pursuits while simultaneously chasing their aspirations of pursuing a medical career.
