India and Russia to Begin Visa-free Travel Agreement for Tourist Exchange

To strengthen international relations between India and Russia, the two countries are preparing to launch pioneering talks on enabling visa-free travel for boosting tourism. The first set of meetings is planned for June, where the involved nations will evaluate the prospects of bilateral accords that could be finalized before the year concludes.
Lately, Nikita Kondratyev, Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects within Russia's Ministry of Economic Development, expressed strong confidence regarding the forthcoming Russia-Islamic World: Kazan Forum 2024. This gathering will act as an opportunity for Kondratyev to highlight the progress of talks concerning group visa-free travel.
Although the talks commence in June, the suggested pact is expected to create fresh opportunities for travelers while strengthening cultural connections and economic partnerships between the two friendly nations.
