Bangladesh MBBS Admission Exam to be held on February 9th

According to the recent announcements made by Zahid Maleque, the Minister of Health and Family Welfare for Bangladesh, the entrance examination for MBBS admissions for the upcoming academic session is scheduled for 9th February 2024. In addition, international applicants can submit their test applications starting January 4, whereas domestic candidates can begin applying online on January 11. Furthermore, the entrance test for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery is set to take place on March 8 2024.

The Health Minister further clarified that the deadline for submitting applications is set for the 23rd of January 2024. Candidates are required to pay their application fees by the 24th of January. In addition, the assignment of roll numbers and the release of the seating plan are expected to be available by the 26th of January 2024. Moreover, the distribution of admit cards is planned for the 5th of February 2024. Similar to the previous academic year, the minimum passing score remains established at 40%.

The MBBS entrance examination is set to provide a combined total of 11,728 seats, which includes 5,380 seats assigned to government medical institutions, 6,348 seats allocated for private medical colleges, and 375 seats set aside for military-operated facilities.
